Girl crying alone in dark, town deserted. Covered in blood.

 

(“2 days earlier” appears on screen)

 

Kurt – running, no dialogue. Attacked by zombie.

Cut scene after zombification.

 

(Long shot outside building, cuts inside)

 

Four people, two boys, two girls, hanging out inside house. Listening to music. Inaudible dialogue, sounds like the people are having fun, laughter…etc.

 

News report is audible over stifled background noise, urging people to stay indoors. Zombie comes to door, as it is Halloween the people think it’s just a drunkard.

Dialogue begins:

 

Dalton: (laughing slightly) Can I help you out there man?

 

Zombie: (Groan)

 

Dalton: (laughs) Look, if you don’t want owt, do you reckon you can get out of my garden? Maybe go home and sleep it off mate, eh?

 

(Zombie attacks Dalton)

(Dalton groans and screams as jugular gets ripped out)

(Mass panic as people run to the door)

 

People spilt up as zombies gather near house.

 

Emily: (Screams names) (Looks panicked and crying, confusion)

 

(Turns corner, sees Sarah being devoured by awesomely gnarly Zombie Kurt)

 

(Screams, turns and runs into another zombie – possibly Dalton, manages to escape after someone else runs in the way and gets eaten, blood spurts all over Emily)

 

Script end, final scenes improvised on day of shooting, we believe this will add effect to the scenario, giving life to a situation if it were really happening.
