Shooting Schedule

Shooting Schedule

 

 

Day 1:

 Opening scene. Man (Kurt Douglas) running, out of breath. Camera around 1 foot from head, facing him.

 Kurt Douglas zombification scene, followed by dismemberment of zombie.


Scene shot at dusk, preferable shooting at weekend to avoid college conflicts.  Props needed include mannequin arms, fake blood, make-up for the zombies and costumes for actors.

 

 

Day 2:

 House scene. Main actors gather in house, shooting begins in basement. Shooting can occur at any point during the day, as long as the actors are available. Dim lighting needed. Props needed include costumes and weapons.

 

Day 3:

Car scene. Car crushes dummy. Props needed include car and dummy, fake blood and make-up.

 

Day 4:

 Wood/Empty Town scene, zombies take over certain amount of land. Shooting at dusk as to retain consistency and continuity. Props needed include weapons and costumes.

 

Day 5:

 Opening and conclusion of sequence. Opening scene and escape scene. One survivor. Shot at night, mild lighting needed, preferably by street lights. Fake blood necessary for scene. This scene continues from the first scene from the opening of our film.

Zombie scenes are shot in one day to avoid inconsistencies in make-up and costume.
